1.   Children are to be treated with dignity, sensitivity and respect.

2.  To be aware and sensitive to the risks involved in interaction with children in a one-to-one setting.

3.   While physical contact may be necessary to instruct a child how to hold/play an instrument, it will be appropriate to the lesson or class.

4.   While physical contact is a valid way of comforting reassuring and showing concern for a child, it will only take place when it is acceptable to all concerned.

5.   Children will never be physically or verbally abused in any way.

6.   Favoritism will never be shown towards any child, each child in a class is given the same level of attention and time appropriate to their needs.

7.   All parents involved in Little Music Makers should respect the personal space, safety and privacy individuals.

8.   Complaints will be met with a response.
